SHOOTING CAMP STAFF

Russ is the founder of the Goalie camp. He is a  physical education and health teacher. He is currently the Head Varsity Coach at Valley Center High School in the San Diego area. He has Coached Varsity Lacrosse for 27 years as a Head Coach. He has four (4) California State High School Lacrosse Championships under his belt. Two as a player with Novato HS 1980 & 1981 and one as a coach with Patrick Henry HS in 1995 and the other with  Serra HS in 1998.
Russ is a member of three (3) Lacrosse Hall of Fames...
His HS...the Novato Lacrosse Hall of Fame,  his college...the San Diego State Lacrosse Hall of Fame and his community... the San Diego Chapter of United States Lacrosse Hall of Fame.
He is the All Time Leading Scorer at San Diego State with 348 points and his number "21" is the only number retired  from the San Diego State Lacrosse program. He has taught over
2000 players the game of lacrosse.

Mike Allan
Mike played his collegiate lacrosse at Princeton University. He was also an assistant coach at Towson University. He is now the head coach at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is one of the best coaches in the west and brings his brand of shooting prowess that is sure to set a fire under all shooting campers. Mike is one of our top coaches and will be in his 8th year at Great Western

Charlie Jackson

Charlie played his HS Lacrosse at Patrick Henry HS in San Diego where he led the Patriots to the 1995 California State Championship. He went on to play his collegiate lacrosse at Chico State. Upon graduation, he become the Head Coach at
his alma mater. He is now the head coach at San Diego State University where he has brought the program into a national top 20 team in the MCLA. He is in his 8th year at Great Western.

Scott Jackson

Scott Jackson is a newly graduated player from Concordia University in Orange County, CA. He is a former coach with the Rancho Bernardo Middle School program and is the Lax.com company rep. His is currently an assistant
coach at Champman University. Scott adds great technique to our shooting camp, an unbridled enthusiam and will be returning for
his 7th year at Great Western.

Larry Noble

Larry Noble played his college lacrosse at the Citadel where he set all the scoring records. He is the current Head Coach at Mountain Pointe HS in Phoenix, Arizona and has been for the
last 14 years. Larry is one of our more experienced coaches and will be working with the younger shooters at camp. He is in his 10th year coaching at Great Western.
